Relocation opportunity to Yuma, Arizona! The Meaningful Use (MU) Project Leader has oversight responsibility for the delivery of a fully certified, Meaningful Use compliant Electronic Health Record (EHR) with quality reporting and training materials. Responsible for the successful planning and execution of all projects related to Meaningful Use, and will facilitate the Meaningful Use Project Team This includes the coordination, monitoring, and status reporting of all clinical and technical components related to the demonstration of Meaningful Use across the health system and will represent Meaningful Use to Affiliate offices, Hospital Owned Entities, and Inpatient Units. The Meaningful Use Project Leader will report to the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO).

Job Description-Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, health care administration or related field. Education Preferred: Masters Degree in related field.

Job Description -Experience
• 2 years healthcare experience • 4 years experience in leading projects • Computer proficiency (must be able to pass computer proficiency assessment) and experience with MSProject, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio. Experience Preferred: • Experience with Epic Electronic Health Record or similar electronic record systems. • Experience in Microsoft Access, Crystal reporting, Web Conferencing, and/or Microsoft SharePoint. Preferred Skills: • Highly skilled in meeting deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Experience coordinating large enterprise and cross-functional projects • Strong ability to communicate with physicians and leaders and to collaborate with other key stakeholders to define business process issues, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions, and measure delivery of results • Adept in analytical, problem solving, and general business acumen • Excellent attention to detail; ensure project documentation is accurate, up to date, and distributed to all impacted stakeholders. • Demonstrate the ability to resolve coordination issues independently; know when and how to escalate issues to the CMIO • Experience in process mapping • Process improvement capabilities • Familiar with Project Charters, Risk Mgmt, Requirements doc, Design Docs • Must be able to pull reports from MS project to determine resource leveling, late tasks, critical path, etc. budget.
