Digital First Media Video Sales Director
Digital First Media is a rapidly growing leader on social platforms and in advertising that supports a sales force of over 1,000 sales reps in 18 states to support 75 plus newspaper and online markets, with an audience of 57 million people each month.
We are looking for an experienced video sales leader to take the lead role of this critical platform for Digital First Media. In this role, you are leading digital sales in video aligned to business priorities across the Digital First Media footprint. You are the subject matter expert in developing the overall strategy and creating the roadmap for all existing and emerging video products. As a key driver in video innovation and capabilities you will deliver optimum customer experiences and return on marketing investment. You are capable of envisioning, leading and implementing from concept to execution.
You are responsible for all brand communications through digital channels, leading the development, execution, and the assessment of innovative, results-oriented video campaigns, and managing the development of all visual marketing campaigns in support of the company’s overall strategic goals, with a main focus on driving sales for each region .
You will need to work under pressure with multiple sales goals to drive results for all 75 newspaper markets, including creating new ideas to hit goals. You will also be responsible for training the entire company, keeping them up to speed on what’s working, what’s new, what has changed.
Digital First Media is seeking a talented, driven, team player with 5+ years of experience, preferably in online advertising specifically on video platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate, highly driven to succeed, and have the ability to travel 25-50% in any given month .
This position reports directly to the Vice President Digital Platform Sales and is permanent, full-time, preferably based in Denver, CO, Philadelphia, PA or New York City. However, location is flexible for a highly qualified candidate, and includes a competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
Participate in budget allocation to support corporate and entity business priorities.
- Architect and implement digital marketing programs associated with driving key business goals including: Revenue, lead generation, interest, awareness, engagement, loyalty and satisfaction. Execute digital marketing strategies that align with business priorities and are tailored for core audiences and segments.
Create a comprehensive strategy to build video sales capabilities. Develop a roadmap for video that includes an understanding of both technical requirements and business requirements. Create a world-class interactive/web marketing cost-structure, operations and execution quality.
Provide sales with on-going training on video platforms.
Provide Sales & Product teams with ongoing analysis to help scale our business.
