The User Experience Designer is responsible for defining the best web user solutions that meet customer needs and business goals of global Lands’ End websites. The candidate must be familiar with and comfortable conducting user research, organizing and classifying content (information architecture), designing accessible, usable, and technically sound interfaces.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
•Works closely with business to help define customer needs and motivational factors and translate them into concepts for compelling interactions and experiences and utilize them to drive profitable sales growth and position as a industry global leader
•Contributes to creating business requirements, functional requirements and taxonomy documentation
•Leads design discussions and collaborates with others to create usable interface designs documented in annotated wireframes or other acceptable documentation
•Collaborates with Creative, IT and other teams to develop scenarios, navigation models, and prototypes for demonstration of concepts to the business
•Creates logical site architecture used to determine the visual and functional layout of a web site or web application, including site maps and wireframes
•Plans, develops, leads and participates in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing
•Educates and provides subject matter expertise for best practices in UX Design across the company
•Advises global partners on UX design and usability (accessibility) compliance
•Provides expertise to the business and IT regarding internationalization and localization
•Provides UX production support for International and LEBO websites (including UX testing)
•Equivalent professional experience, Bachelor’s degree or certification in HCI, Information Architecture, Content Strategy or related field desired
•3+ years designing web-based interfaces
•E-commerce experience a must
•Experience designing for both large and small screen devices
•Passionate about usability and improving the customer shopping experience
