MSN is one of the leading internet properties in the world with over 650 sites in 44 markets. MSN reaches over 500M users and generates billions of page views every month to keep consumers “in the know.” It is a premium property for advertisers with total annual revenue of over $1B. MSN, a profitable business, is one of the cornerstones of Microsoft’s broader online services strategy as a key driver in Bing’s query share gains. MSN’s vision is to engage and entertain consumers with premier content experiences. Our goal is to grow reach and audience by delivering innovative and editorially differentiated products using real-time and social signals across PCs, tablets, and mobile devices. As the market evolves, we are taking a fresh look at how we can best inform, entertain, and engage audiences, so now is a great time to join the MSN team.
MSN is an innovative, high energy team in a collaborative open space environment focused on delivering excellent software in agile software development paradigm. We move on internet time and ship frequently. We encourage our engineers to adopt shared responsibility for writing and maintaining testable, high performance, scalable, and maintainable code. We work smart and hard and have a great time doing it. Monthly morale events, weekly team lunches, Kinect competitions and regular Ping Pong matches are some examples of team’s fun activities. We are located in the heart of vibrant downtown Bellevue with access to numerous top-quality entertainment, shopping, and restaurant choices. Our team is a great fit if you like to work in a self-organizing, motivated team that likes to listens to the customer, loves quality and ships often.
We have the challenge of creating the killer foundation and vertical features that keep users coming back for more through exciting new UX paradigms. This is a unique opportunity that will require you to work across our online properties (Bing, MSN, Ads, Live) to deliver rich, exciting end-user features that help increase user engagement with MSN homepages worldwide.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Skills & Qualifications:
We are looking for a Sr. SDET that can deal effectively with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment. This position will require the ability to influence peers in development and program management, as well as a wide range of partner teams. As a Sr. SDET on our team you will be a key contributor to engineering novel and more efficient ways to inject quality into a complex system where it truly matters.

You will need to be intimately connected with the Live Site and drive a culture of "write once, run everywhere" for all of your automation. Your automation will become our best monitoring.
