"Spare Change News," since 1992 the non-profit street newspaper for greater Boston, seeks an Editor-in-Chief to oversee its editorial mission of featuring under-represented voices, investigative news, and expanded awareness of homelessness and other under-reported social issues. The Editor-in-Chief assigns, reports and edits stories, coordinates the volunteer editorial staff and manages the production of both the biweekly print newspaper and our online web presence, www.SpareChangeNews.net.
Qualified and interested individuals should have a background in journalism, a dedication to issues of social justice, and an ability to manage a diverse team.
