We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Sharepoint Developer located in our Ewing, NJ location.

The Sharepoint Developer will be responsible for SharePoint 2007/2010 Portal development, configuration and administration.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities will include:

•Creating high-quality technical and architectural designs that meet business needs, promote development
•Simplification and code reuse, and leverage available functionality where possible. Ensure that the functionality of applications remain fit for purpose and maintain the highest possible service levels.
•Creating system test scripts to verify that the new integrated system is robust, meets business needs, and is developed in accordance with corporate directives.
•Evaluate new tools and third-party applications, and provide recommendations to management regarding their usefulness.
•Interpret functional requirements, create technical design, implement the necessary technology to fulfill requirements, and perform unit testing
•Serve as the primary technical lead for projects and requests
•Lead and participate in code and design reviews
•Provide support and assistance as necessary during the system integration and user acceptance test phases and provide post-production support as necessary

Qualifications:

Education and Expereince:

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems
•Minimum of 5 years experience in SharePoint development and full understanding of SharePoint 2007 and 2010 functionality and capabilities
•Experience in designing, documenting, developing, and testing high performing SharePoint based applications using the latest techniques such as AJAX, Silverlight, and REST
•Expertise in developing bug-free, standards based code using industry best practices built on the SharePoint platform
•Ability to create architecture and design documents based on UML standards
•Experience designing and developing custom forms using InfoPath and list form customizations
•Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio Programming including C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET.
•Knowledge and experience using SharePoint tools to develop non-code solutions including SharePoint designer third party tools such as K2 BlackPearl, Nintex, other commercial tools, and open source tools. Knowledge and experience must include architectural design, page and web part development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying, and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations.
•Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services report design and development in SharePoint integrated mode a plus
•Must possess a strong understanding of common architecture principles such as SOA, Layered Application Design, and patterns and practices
•Effective interpersonal skills and proficient verbal and written English communication skills
•Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
•Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
