Tibco Software, Inc. has an opening for a Consultant.
Involved in broad spectrum of activities including practice development, team participation and relationship building.
Work on TIBCO products, supporting technologies and product direction.
Identify problems with recommendations for appropriate potential solutions in wide variety of circumstances.
Communicate frequently about schedules, deliverables and risk.
Participate in hiring process, team assignments and cross-training.
Assist in identifying project requirements, strategies and schedules in support of project/initiatives analysis and prioritization.
Define project standards and ensure use. Perform complex event-driven infrastructure
Identify and apply appropriate tools and techniques in support of system development life cycle. Identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions for companies in wide variety of circumstances.
Assist in definition of work objectives and desired outcomes to technical team.
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week. Job location: Schaumburg, IL. May require up to 85% of domestic and international travel.
Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Interdisciplinary Studies or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or any related position and professional experience or academic/knowledge with: Windows, UNIX and LINUX operating systems; VMWare; At least 3 production installations in a highly-available/faulttolerant configuration; CEP based systems development; Familiarity with iterative development life cycle and methodology; Web Services concepts; Network design, operation and performance tuning; system performance analysis and capacity planning.
