Under the direction of the lead instructor, the full-time Nursing Instructor for Butler Community College is responsible for instruction of nursing students to include classroom, laboratory and clinical area instruction.

Education, training, experience:
Must demonstrate thorough and accurate knowledge of the discipline, display an ability to interpret and evaluate theories in the discipline, connect subject matter with related fields, and stay current in subject matter through professional development. Will meet with course faculty to discuss, plan and evaluate course curriculum including objectives, syllabus, content, learning experience, evaluation tools and mechanics of courses. Must have computer skills. Must have a current Kansas RN License. BSN required, with a minimum of one year of demonstrated nursing experience in the hospital setting. Master’s degree in Nursing required. Previous experience as faculty within a nursing program is desirable. The applicant may be requested to authorize the College to procure a consumer report(s) for employment purposes.
