The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer.?The incumbent is also responsible for coordinating and maintaining an effective bakery shop through direct contact with the staff.
Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
Trains new employees as to correct procedures and department policies.
Coordinates duties assigned to staff.
Maintains requisitions, par stock records and supply rotation.
Ensures equipment inspection maintenance.
Oversees and is directly involved in the production of bakery items.
Assumes the responsibilities of the Room Chef in his/her absence or as instructed.
This position operates in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of cold, heat, noise and vibration, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates/trainees.
Ability to inspect and maintain areas and equipment for which responsible.
