Mental Health Worker / Per Diem Corona Regional Medical Center -
Corona, CA
Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Program Director,
the certified nurse assistant/mental health worker will assist in the
promotion, maintenance and restoration of health of patients assigned
to his/her care. Responsibilities include assisting with ADL's,
promoting wellness, health/education and clearly documenting patient
activities.
Requirements
¨
Current California
Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate
preferred.
¨
Current BLS (CPR)
Certificate required.
¨
Knowledge of Patient Rights.
¨
Six months recent hospital (med/surg, and/or psych) experience
required.
¨
Knowledge of physiological changes that occur with patients
age 55 plus.
¨
Assaultive Behavior Management training
required within 90 days from date of hire.
