Serves patients by greeting and helping them; scheduling appointments; maintaining records and accounts. Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.

Hours: Part Time-4 days a week
High school diploma or GED. A minimum of 1-2 years of Customer Service/Medical Office experience. Medical terminology knowledge and MS Office skills are desired. Medical Insurance experience is an plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be able to work in an environment with constant interruptions without losing focus or composure.
