Responsible for providing prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries as part of the Sports Medicine Center.
Bachelor's degree as an Athletic Trainer or related field required.
1.Outstanding written and oral communication skills to write business communications, make groups presentations, and effectively impart information at staff meetings.
2. Ability to promote effective collaboration and teamwork among individuals of multiple disciplines and across organizational boundaries.
3. Knowledge of regulatory, reimbursement, legal and policy issues as they relate to effective unit management.
4. Proven ability to establish and maintain physician relations.
Previous experience in Sports Medicine preferred.
Current licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Louisiana through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners required.
Current certification with National Athletic Training Association (NATA) required.
