Duties & Responsibilities: Performs psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Provides counseling/therapy to clients requiring complex intervention focused on suicide prevention and psychiatric stabilization. Performs commitment determinations and/or execute orders of involuntary commitments. Perform liaison duties with the local criminal justice system, court systems, and state regional psychiatric hospitals. Provides supervisory duties for case manager, program assistant, and group leaders. Coordinate and supervise regional law enforcement training and advise Sheriff on mental health policy and procedure in the correctional setting.

Minimum Training & Experience: Masters degree in a social services related field from an accredited program, eligibility to be licensed (LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW or LAMFT, LMFT) AND Two years of supervised experience in the social services delivery.

Agency Specific Qualifications and/or Preferred Qualifications: Licensed as a LCSW and 2 years experience in providing crisis services and/or behavioral health services. Providing supervision to professional staff is preferred. Experience working in the Adult Forensic population.
