Senior Human Resources Specialist
Reporting to and supporting the Senior HR Manager for Supply Chain, this Senior HR Specialist will be responsible for partnering with the Supply Chain team in general from a people perspective. He or she will be tasked with helping to develop and support the seamless delivery of a broad range of regional and global HR solutions. The employee populations are located at various sites across NA with strong corporate presence in Trumbull, CT.
Occasional travel may be expected between offices and at offsite meetings. In addition, the HR specialist will be asked to participate in holistic efforts within the regional Unilever HR community that will help continuously upgrade the level of overall HR partnership Unilever provides to its businesses.
The position will need to provide support on issues relating to organizational development, change management, succession planning, employment law, labor/employee relations, compensation planning with a heavy emphasis on university relations and recruitment strategies. Additionally, the Senior HR Specialist may take independent ownership of several client groups as a stretch opportunity in the role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing HR strategic and day-to-day support by developing and sustaining client relationships and applying a range of HR tools and solutions to further the people agenda ensuring every day executional excellence of administrative processes.
Support the seamless execution of HR activities relating to recruitment, compensation analysis, performance management, PDP, HRP, succession management, learning and change management. This work will be performed in
partnership across HR teams.
Interprets and applies support and administration of policies and programs. Communicates to client groups in support of HR Managers and Directors.
Project management to include Global People Survey, E-Rewards, Performance Development Planning, etc.
Partner with appropriate business leaders to assigned client group as required.
Ability to prioritize work and problem solve to accomplish objectives in a complex organization.
Ability to coach remote teams and work with various Corporate departments.
Ability to build strong relationships remotely.
Ability to be flexible when working spreadsheets and presentations as our working environment can be dynamic and fluid.
Ability to work under pressure and meet firm deadlines under minimal supervision.
Flexibility to multitask and to work on various functional projects.
Ability to work with and interface with all levels of Company employees outside of HR.
Excellent analytical ability, enabling independent synthesis of data and delivery to clients.
Work across North America.
Work with various HR areas.
Expertise in PeopleSoft, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Well-grounded in HR terminology and systems.

Bachelor’s Degree Required.
3-5 years of experience in Human Resources.
Previous HR Business Partner experience is essential for this role.
Individual must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Must have exposure to campus recruiting.
