Responsible for providing technical and troubleshooting support, maintenance and repairs to automated production equipment to reduce equipment downtime and meet production schedules. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance as required to ensure equipment availability
Duties and Job Responsibilities:
Performs electrical and mechanical repairs. Troubleshoots, Old and New equipment with, programmable logic controller (PLC) systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.), vision systems, electrical schematics, photo eyes/sensors, limit switches, proximity switches, temperature controllers, variable speed drives, motors, servos, pneumatic systems, motor and machine controls, advanced electronics, electrical systems up to 480v, 3ph, hydraulic systems, leak testing, ultrasonic and radio frequency plastic joining, occasional board level troubleshooting and repair using discrete ic components.
Works in a safe manner at all times and is trained in Arc Flash, Lock Out Tag out, Basic Electrical safety, Ladder Safety, and other plant programs.
Correctly document all work performed.
Able and willing to work overtime when required
Minimum HS Diploma or GED equivalent required, related certificate from a college or technical school required.---AA degree preferred, or equivalent training and experience.
Must have experience in a manufacturing environment... Industrial Manufacturing / Production Maintenance. Experienced with programmable logic controls (PLC) systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
Advanced electrical/electronic knowledge and maintenance, repair, and programming experience with PLC controls, AC/DC motors and drives, electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, Servo drives and motors, controls, relays, switches, sensors, solenoid valves, and vision systems.
Able to work with limited supervision, have strong communication skills, both verbally and written, good documentation skills, strong computer skills, customer oriented, work effectively under stressful conditions.
