Primary Position Responsibilities for Quality Assurance:
Planning and managing the execution of QA activities for each project.
Reporting overall project quality status to the product line Directors.
Provide QA approvals to significant deliveries.
Ensure engineers and project teams are trained on applicable standards and processes.
Responsible for interfacing with global customers on Engineering Quality aspects, including customer audits and assessments, ensuring the company meets customer quality requirements in support of new business wins
Detailed Requirements: Primary Position Responsibilities for Continuous Improvement:
Establish the strategic vision for Continuous Improvement for Electronics Engineering
Agree on improvement goals with relevant Directors, to establish plans and to manage the improvements to completion.
Manage delivery of Electronics Engineering continuous improvement targets
Drive and coach the Technical Directors & Chief Engineers to ensure that Continuous Improvement tools & methods are properly and profitably applied and managed
Education and Certification Requirements:
BS Degree
5-7 or more years of experience in structured SW or Electronics development in safety critical real-time embedded systems
ISO 16949, AutoSPICE and CMMI experience
Problem solving skills & persuasion skills
Excellent communication skills and management skills
Experience in Quality tools and methods
Certified AutoSPICE or CMMI Assessor preferred
