Minimum and Additional Requirements:|
This position requires a master’s degree in computer networking, information systems, information security, or a related computer field or a bachelor’s degree in the same. Technical certification in Security+, Network+, A+, Linux+, Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP, Microsoft MCSA or MCSE, Microsoft MCITP or Microsoft MCTS required for candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree and preferred for candidates with a master’s degree. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are also required. Ideal candidate will have prior teaching experience. Applicants must be familiar with computer hardware, desktop and network operating systems, and Cisco routing and switching. The selected candidate must be able to teach day and evening courses. Candidates must also be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
