Job Description:
We are looking for an aggressive, passionate and self-motivated Vice President of Business Development who thrives on building relationships and securing new business. The ideal candidate will have proven success driving the growth of a hotel portfolio through competitive and strategic plans and follow through actions. The successful incumbent will be able to negotiate skillfully and diplomatically with both internal and external clients. The Vice President of Business Development will consistently exceed goals and push for financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prospect, identify and qualify potential new hotel management opportunities

· Aggressively close new business with prospects; create strategic partnerships

· Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities

· Deliver in-person presentations that showcase and promote the Richfield Hospitality brand value in a variety of formal settings including peers and external clients

· Participate in site tours to evaluate prospective properties

· Build strong relationships with prospects to foster multi-year management agreements

Desired Skills & Experience

· A demonstrable track record of success in identifying opportunities and executing strategies to increase profitability

· A strong list of industry contacts and existing relationships

· Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

· Ability to navigate to key decision makers through formal channels and informal networking

· Results and detail oriented

· Knowledgeable in practices, trends, technology and information in hospitality business development

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

· 10+ years related experience in an hotel business development role

· BA in Business or related field
