Opportunity Profile:
We are currently seeking a Security Engineer to fill a position in our Global IT department located in Canonsburg, PA. The Security Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Information Security initiatives globally.


Without supervision, deploy network security equipment including, but not limited to, firewall, VPN, Reverse Proxy and AAA equipment.

Develop documentation including technical drawings for Information Security implementations.

Provide advanced troubleshooting, configuration and maintenance of complex networks.

Produce secure network designs according to industry best practices.

Provide planning, leadership, direction, and advanced technical expertise for Information Security initiatives.

Serve as high-level technical expert in regards to Information Security and associated issues.

Assess need for any Information Security reconfigurations (minor or significant) and execute them if required.

Conduct research on emerging Information Security products, services, protocols, and standards.

Recommend, schedule, and perform Information Security improvements, upgrades, and/or purchases.

Provide on-call support for the Global Information Security.

Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team and contract resources.

Responsible for updating incident and change management records.

Perform other duties as assigned.


Hands-on designing, deploying and managing wireless security appliances and devices.

Hands-on experience with deployment, configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco ASA Firewall and VPN devices

Hands-on experience with deployment, configuration and support of remote access and site to site VPN using Cisco ASA devices

Strong technical knowledge of network switching, routing, protocols, DNS and standards

Experience working with Cisco Secure ACS

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Experience with Cisco AnyConnect preferred but not required

Experience with Proxy and Reverse Proxy (Blue Coat) implementations preferred but not required

Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine preferred but not required

Experience with securing mobile devices and BYOD preferred but not requited

Ability to complete assigned project tasks

Customer focus and willingness to support end users and team members on all information exchange issues

Ability to manage multiple issues at once and prioritize own work

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Highly self-motivated and directed

Strong organizational skills

Excellent attention to detail

This is a position of individual contributor role. When projects are assigned supervision of individuals with no direct reporting to position is required, however this position may be required to provide solution leadership oversight to junior team members or contractors for large or complex tasks or projects.

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and minimum of 6 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

CCNP Security, CCNA, CISSP or other security industry certifications are preferred but not required.

May be required to stand; walk; stoop; bend; kneel; and climb steps. May require use of hands and use of arms. Light lifting requirements.
