Scribe Strategies and Advisors is now accepting applications for accomplished interns with proven credentials for positions in our Defense and Homeland Security Division during the summer semester. Interns participate in a variety of activities on individual projects for corporate and institutional investor clients involved in the defense industry. Specific tasks will be for one of our two main offerings: Strategy assignments such as detailed market research and analysis and market penetration strategies; and support for our communications and media relations team.
The ideal candidate is an MBA or MA degree student interested in all aspects of the business of defense and national security. The position demands flexibility, detailed research and writing skills for the strategy position, and knowledge of communications for the media relations team. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other computer and internet applications, as well as knowledge of advanced statistical analysis techniques, is desirable.
Scribe Strategies and Advisors is a multi-disciplinary firm that offers clients government relations, strategic advisory, market analysis, and communications support. It’s Defense and Homeland Security Division provides strategic counsel to domestic and foreign clients in all aspects of the strategic business planning, business development, and communications processes.
Work schedules for summer interns are full time with some flexibility based on individual availability. The internships are unpaid.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications :
Graduate student preferred or undergraduate in Senior year with commiserate prior internship/substantive work experience
At least 3 months internship/work experience involving either communications or research/analysis relevant to defense, homeland security, or foreign policy
Strong command of written English and the ability to articulate analytical findings in well constructed and professional manner
