Reporting to the Deposit Compliance Leader, this individual will play a key role in managing legal regulatory requirements for the deposit products.
•Work with Deposit Compliance Leader to ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal deposit laws and regulations.
•Assist with establishing/maintaining appropriate policies and operating procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
•Help the business embed effective tools, systems and controls for analyzing and monitoring regulatory risks; be an expert on appropriate controls and documentation of compliance management.
•Assist Deposit Compliance Leader on deposit related compliance issues and matters. Report and track issues in a timely manner to Compliance Review Board.
•Partner with the business to ensure complete understanding of business processes and legal/regulatory requirements and risks in his/her areas of responsibility.
•Establish effective relationships with all compliance and operational areas.
•Support regulatory projects to address requirements or requests from the various governing regulators.
•Partner with Operations on key compliance processes such as excessive transactions, EFT disputes, call monitoring, and statement/disclosure review.
•Review and approve job aids, letters and various other requests relating to all operational processes.
•Drive effective identification and management of compliance risks, provide solutions, and assist resolution.
•Other duties & functions as assigned.
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT
1) Bachelor Degree and 3+ years of deposit compliance experience in financial services or 2) In lieu of the Bachelor’s Degree, a minimum of 7+ years of deposit compliance experience
PC skills, with proficiency in primary MS applications

-You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process
