Department: Product Development
Supports the enterprise design, local implementation, and optimization of the telehealth roadmap. In collaboration wth the Medical Director of Telemedicine Services, supports and leads efforts in the development of the telehealth workflow design, implementation and program monitoring. Serves as an advocate in promoting the use of telehealth technology in all clinical settings (inpatient, ambulatory, home, etc.). Participates in the design and implementation of the telehealth projects, providing guidance on functional, architectural, workflow and integration requirements to successfully deploy systemwide strategic initiatives. Focuses on maximizing the full spectrum impact Mercy's electronic informational tools.Provides subject matter expertise to assist with the integration of related processes to telehealth to achieve successful adoption and utilization of all technologies. Coordinates the work of the telehealth team with all appropriate systemwide and local medical committees. Performs duties all responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Experience: At least 3 years of clinical practice, At least 1 year of experience with electronic medical records, and At least 1 year of telehealth experience.
Licensure: Active licensure as a Physician in a state or territory of the United States and eligibe for licensure in those states with Mercy hospitals.
Education: Masters degree equivalent in Informatics or Health Administration.
Experience: 2 years of expereince in medical informatics.
