We are looking for a Human Resources Intern to handle some Generalist responsibilities. This is a paid internship, and an excellent way to start or grow your Human Resources career. There will be training provided. Repsonsibilities will include:
Payroll functions- tracking and reporing PTO; Employment verifications; Expense reimbursement administration
Benefits Administration functions- Ensuring proper employee enrollment; reconciling provider invoices
HR Administration and Compliance functions- Recruiting; New hire paperwork/ orientation; Personnel file management; Employment verifications
Upon being trained and comfortable in the role, this individual may be responsible for building and HR procedural manual regarding benefits.
This individual will have knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices; MS Office proficiency and computer literacy; attention to detail; excellent customer service and communication skills.
This employment will last approximately 4-5 months; and will be a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule. This is an excellent developmental opportunity for an up and coming HR professional.
Compensation will depend on experience. The location is Southwest of Pittsburgh, toward the airport.
