As Basis Administrator, you’ll work both independently
and as part of a collaborative team to implement and
maintain the SAP Core Business systems at optimal
performance, availability, and efficiency. With
expertise in IT BASIS, strong problem solving and
interpersonal communication skills, and awareness of
other related technical areas such as development,
configuration, and security, you will support our
current ERP implementation as well as coordinate with
our Infrastructure and Technical Architecture teams in
building out and supporting the SAP landscape
environment.
Our core SAP Business Solution includes: SAP Enterprise
Portal, XI/PI, ECC, HCM, BI, and Solution Manager in
both dual (ABAP and Java) and single stack (ABAP or
Java) implementations. In this capacity, you will work
across all phases of the project (Project Prep, Business
Blueprint, Realization, Final Preparation, Go-Live and
then into ongoing Production Support). You’ll be
responsible for reporting progress to goals, identifying
key risks and mitigation strategies, providing direct
support for other process teams or work threads, and
completing other duties as needed or assigned.

What you’ll do:
  • Support a current ERP implementation and coordinate
integration points with non-SAP systems.
  • Utilizing IT BASIS expertise and awareness of other
related technical areas such as development,
configuration, and security, you’ll work across all
phases of the project (Project Prep, Business Blueprint,
Realization, Final Preparation, Go-Live and then into
ongoing Production Support).
  • Administer Microsoft SQL Server Database.
  • Report progress on goals.
  • Identify key risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide direct support for other process teams or work
threads.
  • Coordinate with the Core Merchandising and other
functional teams for Infrastructure services.
  • Document, configure and test SAP Core Business system
solution sets as applicable to BASIS and Integration
areas.
  • Oversee System metrics, Key Performance Indicators and
monitoring.
  • Develop integration planning and intersystem
connectivity.
  • Technical mapping of requirements to solution set as
applicable to BASIS.
  • Go-Live cutover activities and post go-live
stabilization and support activities.
  • Provide ongoing administration and support for SAP
systems including installations, upgrades, patching,
performance tuning, troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Participate in on-call rotation and management of
highly escalated issues.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned.
What you bring:
  • Core SAP Business Solution includes: SAP Enterprise
Portal, XI/PI, ECC 6.0, HCM, BI, and Solution Manager.
  • Experience with ABAP and JAVA Stacks.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database
Administration
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, and a minimum of five
(5) years of work experience and three (3) years of SAP
BASIS experience.
  • Broad understanding of SAP BASIS/NetWeaver
technologies and related third party applications.
  • Ability to develop, articulate and build support
around a long term vision and implement incremental
milestones in support of that vision.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing
skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in achieving shared objectives
within a matrixed organization, participating in
cross-divisional projects and building effective
cross-functional teams and relationships.
  • Prominently developed skills in the planning and
construction of global centralized SAP environments,
with proven experience in collaborating with business
partners.
  • Aptitude for learning.
  • Competency in managing multiple and competing
priorities.
  • Ability to follow and adhere to established ITIL
policies and processes.
