Interviews and counsels all self pay patients to assist them with payment arrangements and / or Medicaid application processing and other forms of state / local assistance. Interview patients with Motor Vehicle accident related visits to obtain MVA insurance. Collects co-pays amounts from patients with insurance.
Associates degree preferred or minimum of 2 years experience in accounts receivable within a healthcare organization with knowledge of Medicaid reimbursement programs. Must be computer literate with knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Microsoft Word. Above average communication skills are required. Bilingual skills in Spanish is required. Individual must be a self starter, well organized, and able to work independently.
