An Operations Specialist is responsible for plan setup/closing of employer accounts for FSA, HRA, HSA and transportation plans. This role is also responsible for processing enrollment and contribution files maintaining employer and consumer accounts.

  • Process contributions, transfer requests, and account closures
  • Update and maintain employer account balances
  • Ensure data entry accuracy
  • Create, update, and maintain employer plans
  • Work with the entire team to develop new processes and procedures
  • Continuous improvement approach to work
  • Communicate changes needed to new processes
  • Implement new processes
  • Communicate with other teams as necessary to resolve account discrepancies
  • Process demographic, enrollment, and contribution files if requested
  • Monitor the Request tab for new submission
  • Continuous learning and sharing of knowledge
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Understanding of Section 125 administrative processes and procedures
  • Understanding of HIPAA/HITECH and Privacy Regulations
  • Knowledge of administrative software
  • Customer service experience and benefit experience typically acquired in 6 months to two years
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Must take initiative in jobs performed, seek solutions and answers to problems
