This position requires that you maintain a ANACI security clearance.
DUTIES:
You will provide a range of direct patient care services. Measure vital signs and report deviations from the norm to the provider. Assist with the treatment and diagnostic procedures, preparing the equipment and area. Observe patients for physical or emotional reactions. Initiate emergency measures. Maintain records of treatment and patient log sheets. Ask patient questions from the admission form and complete it for the patients chart. Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy. Reinforces patient teaching previously accomplished by the provider. Report patient information to the provider to ensure it is documented in the nursing care records. Maintain asepsis, specified sterility, safety and security of the clinic. Participate in staff development in-services and pap-professional nursing education. Enters, manipulate and retrieve information and data from the hospital computer system.

General Schedule
Specialized experience: To Qualify applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-05).
