Support a group of sales reps by tracking product with vendors, tracking internal orders, placing specialty orders, investigate inventory issues while keeping the sales rep informed.
This position will primarily work 11:00AM-8:00PM.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enter sales orders into database as well as, custom uniforms, replacements, comp goods and inventory sensitive merchandise within 24 hours.
Monitor sales orders through reporting using Microsoft Office programs/databases and partner with Sales, Production, Warehouse, and Art resolve issues to ensure orders ship by requested date.
Stay up to date on available merchandise and preferred vendors.
Create Purchase Orders and purchase product from partnered vendors.
Process credit card payments for prepay orders.
Work with accounting to resolve Accounts Payable and Receivable issues.
Perform other administrative duties as needed, i.e. collect data, build and input information into a spreadsheet.
Offer assistant to all assigned sales reps via email or telephone within a timely manner.
Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Provide excellent customer service as outlined in the HW&L policy manual.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associate’s Degree in Business or related field plus one year relative experience or; High School Diploma or equivalent plus two years relative experience or; equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem solving, decision making and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to operate a computer with the fundamental knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and the internet.
Ability to type 30 words per minute.
The ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
