PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MATCH THE JOB DESCRIPTION BELOW AND YOU ARE LOCAL TO THE BAY AREA AND ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IT Systems Administrator Description Provide general server, application, and desktop support for supported end user systems and services while prioritizing projects and daily workload. Maintain Windows servers and file servers Maintain application and hardware inventory Maintain AD and Exchange environment Maintain corporate network: VLANs, configuring switches, troubleshooting Respond to emails, telephone calls, and personal requests for technical support Resolve all desktop support interactions in a timely manner while updating the requester until resolved Triage requests and issues based on priority and in the order they come in Demonstrates strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within IT industry standards and corporate desktop support procedures Create/user documentation, guidelines and standard operating procedures effectively (password support, configure and deploy new hire kits, execute move adds and changes, printing problems, etc.) and escalate issues to senior-level support promptly Uses strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and determine appropriate solutions Demonstrates understanding of VOIP phone systems and call center solutions (Shoretel knowledge is a plus) Qualifications One to three years of Desktop Support or Help Desk experience. One to three years experience supporting Window servers, AD and Exchange, PCs and Macs, modems, monitors, laptops/desktops, PDAs and other technical equipment. Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

Knowledge of Windows and Mac OS’s (laptops/desktops), Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory 2007+ and Exchange 2007+, and VMware Top-notch customer service orientation and professional demeanor Ability to interact successfully with all levels of employees within the organization Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills Dedicated work-ethic, responsible, reliable and strong personal integrity Excellent planning and organizational skills Adaptability/versatility for changing workloads and priorities Exceptional ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines IT Desktop/Laptop Support, Active Directory, Exchange 2007, VIOP Phone Systems and Call Center Solutions, Windows, Mac, Linux, VMware
