The Dynamic Airways A&P mechanic is responsible to the Director of Maintenance, or when acting as a Flight Mechanic to the Manager, Maintenance Control and provides aircraft maintenance in a variety of airframe and powerplant areas to deliver quality and value. Opportunities for travel exist.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Proper, timely completion of assigned tasks in accordance with the company's standard policies and procedures. Proper completion of all paperwork related to assigned tasks. Provide necessary information to supervisor for shift turnovers or enter the information in shift turnover reports in the absence of supervision. Ensure proper Required Inspection Item (RII) procedures are adhered to. Monitor personal duty time when volunteering for overtime, day trade, shift swap or additional work to insure compliance with FAR 121.377 and company policy. When acting as an Authorized RII Inspector ensure all RII requirements are in accordance with GMM policy and procedures. Previous experience with MD-80s required. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

The required A&P certification is under FAR Part 65, subparts D, E and/or acceptable training or experience. A minimum of one year documented, verifiable experience or acceptable training on Transport Category Aircraft (including military types) is preferred. Strong applicants possess the requisite mechanical skills and integrity to perform aircraft maintenance to the standards required by Dynamic Airways.

Applicants are required to possess and maintain the adequate number and quality of tools necessary to perform assigned tasks, as well as understand and apply all chapters of the Dynamic Airways General Maintenance Manual which pertain to this position.
