We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Hospice CNA to work with patients in their homes, assisted living facilities or skilled nursing homes. As a Hospice CNA with Community Home Care & Hospice (CHCH) , you will assist patients with Activities of Daily Living and offer comfort and emotional support to patients and their families.
Additional tasks of the Hospice CNA include:
Measuring and recording patient fluid intake
Assisting patients with walking and turning
Hospice CNA - Home Health Care CNA Certified Nursing Assistant
Job Responsibilities
As a Hospice CNA with CHCH, you will work independently on a one-on-one basis with a small and manageable patient caseload with the support of a professional team environment.
Additional responsibilities of the Hospice CNA include:
Evaluating any changes in patients’ overall health
Assisting with daily hygiene, grooming and dressing
Displaying positive and patient-centered customer service skills
Hospice CNA - Home Health Care CNA Certified Nursing Assistant
Requirements
As a Hospice CNA with CHCH, you must be able to communicate effectively and empathetically with hospice patients and their families.
Additional requirements for the Hospice CNA include:
Valid CNA license in North Carolina
Home health care nursing experience
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Eligible to work in the United States
