Requirements:
Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology as required by the State of Michigan.
In good standing with current ARRT certification per Hospital policy-American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and meet all State requirements.
Must be up to date and maintain all Continuing Education requirements per ARRT standards.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation /BLS with the American Heart Association health care provided required per hospital and JCAHO standards.
BA preferred as well as supervision/management experience in Radiology.
Responsibilities and expectations:
Supervisor is expected to perform general procedures in all areas of the department. R
esponsible for the scheduling of technologists and vacation time, administers coaching or corrective actions when needed and annual appraisals.
H
olds monthly staff meetings, monitor patient satisfaction scores and develops action plans as needed.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments
. Innovative when it comes to process improvements and workflow. Willing to think out side the box to provide solutions to difficult issues.
Must have organizational skills and can prioritize workload. Provides an environment of teamwork with a positive demeanor.
Attends Hospital and Department Leader Meetings as representation for Radiology.
