LOCATION

: Geisinger Medical Center Hospital WORK SCHEDULE

: Days WORK TYPE : Full Time

JOB SUMMARY:

Assists nursing and medical staff in the administration of patient care in assigned clinic area.

Assists with patient examinations, procedures, diagnostic studies, treatments and dressings.

Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned clinical area.

Performs duties to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.

Works under the supervision of the Clinic LPN and Clinic RN.

Reports to the Senior Clinic Nurse, Operations Manager and Operations Director.

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

*Demonstrates strong organizational skills, good interpersonal skills and a high regard for confidentiality.

*Demonstrates flexibility, tact and ability to perform both independently and as a team member.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

*Completion of training as a nursing assistant required.

*Minimum two years experience as a nursing assistant/clinic technician preferred.

*Pediatric experience preferred.

*Computer skills required. EPIC experience preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

*Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
