Strategic Materials Program Specialist
Job Description: The Strategic Materials Specialist (formerly known as MPM) role within the Device Operations Team is to ensure the board and system materials are capable of ramping into high volume at the quality and cost requirements for the Mobile and Communications Group (MCG) business. This includes driving component & supplier qualification plans, supply line/availability plans, managing the ODM's procurement strategy and driving/achieving cost targets. This role may need to lead working groups for high focus components.
Must possess a BS or MS Degree
- 4 or more years of experience in Commodity Management, Supplier Management, or Material Planning.
- 4 or more years of experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- 4 or more years of experience with MRP systems.
- Experience in Purchasing.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Technical knowledge of Smartphones.
- Experience with SAP.
