Develop and maintain both internal and external marketing strategies designed to meet organizational objectives and keep Estes ahead of the competition
  • Develop employee-facing strategies to build morale and help employees gain or maintain a favorable company image
  • Utilize a strong understanding of customer dynamics and branding principles to create customer-facing strategies designed to build market share
  • Conduct and evaluate research, market conditions, competitor data and implement strategic changes to internal and external communication plans as needed
  • Manage content and work with team to maximize use of channels used to communicate with both employees and customers (web, print, digital media, etc.)
  • Develop annual employee and marketing communications plans, incorporating long- and short-term strategies, policies, procedures and budget
  • Implement approved communications plans, overseeing scheduling, risk identification, contingency plans and development of project teams
  • Initiate projects needed to implement communication plans, taking responsibility for production of deliverables to include oversight of messaging and quality assurance/accuracy
  • Formulate and define technical scope and objectives of communications projects
  • Consult with management and review project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations and procedures for accomplishing projects
  • Plan promotional communication projects, including but not limited to print, electronic and special events to fulfill goals of approved communications plans
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that all communication is clear, precise, achieves its purpose and is voiced properly
  • Contract and serve as a liaison with outside consultants and vendors
  • Develop new ideas and identify opportunities for communication activities that promote the overall image of Estes to both customers and employees
  • Plan and direct development and communication of information designed to keep both customers and employees informed of EstesÂ’ products, programs and procedures
  • Regular attendance is required

  • Qualifications
    • BA or BS and a minimum of 7 years of experience in a related field; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
    • Must be a results-oriented, versatile, senior-level manager with extensive experience in creating and overseeing effective marketing and employee communication plans
    • Strong understanding of audience and market dynamics and requirements
    • Must be proficient in MS Office
    • Must be assertive, highly self-motivated, and have strong leadership, project management and communication skills
    • Must thrive in a multi-task, fast-paced, structured corporate environment
    • Possesses the ability to be a team player, share ideas, and offer and welcome constructive reviews
    • Demonstrates the ability to interact successfully with a diverse population and with staff at all levels
    • Must be able to problem solve, evaluate effect of content on employees and customers with different points of view and independently develop on-target communication strategies.
    • Possesses the ability to see the bigger picture, but hone in on specific details to make sure all projects meet their stated goals.
    • Must be able to and comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
    • Ability to work independently or in a team setting
    • Must be mentally and emotionally capable of handling a high stress environment
    • Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs
    • Responds well to questions. Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations/procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to a criminal history background check
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States
