TITLE: FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (IT Systems Technical Specialist) (4488)

SALARY RANGE: $50,631 - $81,287 (Grade 19)

DESCRIPTION:
This position serves as a systems administrator for the financial system within the Division of Information Technology. This position will be responsible for providing technical and user support for Microsoft Dynamics SL and related components such as eBanking Suite, Hard Close, Bassets eDepreciation, FRx, Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting Services and business portal. This position will provide project support for Dynamics upgrade, enhancement and improvement and managing a support contract that provides additional technical support for the financial system. Duties will include technical support, user training, business processes automation, interface maintenance and administrator level of technical documentation writing for the financial system.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Management Information Systems or other information technology-related field to include coursework in application, communication, data base or operating systems software technology.

EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining application, communication, database or operating systems software. *One year of this experience must include providing technical support to end users for a software package/program (details must be provided).

Experience operating multipurpose, multi-tasking computer systems; or scheduling, controlling input and output or maintaining a tape library to process data on multipurpose, multi-tasking computer systems; or evaluating, implementing and maintaining microcomputer hardware and software; or converting data from project specifications by developing program code using third generation or other generally accepted computer programming languages may be substituted for high school on a year-for-year basis.
