The ideal programmer analyst will thrive in an intellectually challenging environment, solve problems and work with team members to create high-quality, leading edge software solutions.
Design and develop cutting edge e-commerce applications using Microsoft and Apple technology stacks
Respond to mission-critical software problems in a rapid and high-quality fashion
Analysis, development and documentation of technical requirements
Technical estimation of work to be performed by self or others
Work with defect tracking, source code control and software release systems to ensure high-quality software releases over time
Collaborate with team for continuous improvement in an Agile development environment
Minimum of 5 years professional software development experience
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in either Microsoft .NET or Java development
Experience in how to follow, adhere to, and enhance a Software Development Methodology (Waterfall or Agile)
Familiarity with objected oriented principles and patterns
Ability to manage and prioritize own workload
Demonstrated ability to be a team player as well as an independent performer
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis abilities
Understanding of E-Commerce, search engines, integration of social networks preferred
Design and creation of relational database schemas and SQL queries preferred
Experience with performance tuning a plus
