Job Responsibilities:
-Load dry ice products into shipping containers; may operate equipment used in manufacturing/shipping of dry ice products at facility
-Fully support, accurately complete, and maintain Air Liquide Industrial US LP's Health, Safety and Environmental policies/procedures and relevant local documentation at assigned facility
-Perform job duties in compliance with all local/federal governmental regulations (FDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, cGMP, etc) and Air Liquide policies (including MOCs, PSSRs, QIRs)
-Report all safety/reliability incidents to a production technician or plant manager
-Active participation in facility safety meetings/inspections
-Actively demonstrate identified acquiring skill sets in daily operational duties
-Pursue personal growth/development through self-initiative practices; work with resources made available as coordinated with production technician/plant manager
-Participate in operational/routine maintenance tasks within the facility work group without interruption of customer product deliveries
-Identify potential maintenance/repair needs; communicate them to production technician/plant manager
-Assist/work closely with production technicians with daily facility needs including all phases of manufacturing, processing, loading finished dry ice in block/pellet form; wash, clean, store dry ice block/pellet boxes
-Facility record keeping/documentation as delegated by production technician or plant manager
-Study work specific standard operating procedures, P&IDs, PFDs, all other technical documentation as relates to dry ice operational or equipment processes
-Complete individual initial documentation for site-specific training needs, compliance to qualification/training program for Dry Ice Technician (Job Training Classification-DRY ICE TECH) in SmartTrain
-Must be willing to work a rotating shift schedule; typically Sunday to Thursday work week, 8 to 10 hours work periods, primarily evening and midnight shifts
-Must follow policies/procedures on proper notification for vacation scheduling, floating holidays, personal days off
-Flexible to support filling in for vacations/emergency shift relief coverage as situations warrant
-Willing to work overtime as needed or be called in for assigned work
-On call nights, weekends, holidays as required

General Requirements:
-Learn and comply with plant/company safety rules, regulations, policies/procedures
-Must be safety minded; model good safety practices
-Must be able to learn/follow standard operating procedures; follow through on instructions; work with minimal supervision; perform light/routine maintenance; perform basic math operations; keep accurate records; be diligent in documentation and record retention policies/procedures
-Be certified to operate a fork lift and operate a lift/pallet jack
-Exhibit mechanical ability; display mechanical and electrical aptitude for equipment operations
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to work extended hours as business needs dictate.
-Must be able to safely handle, lift, otherwise physically manage 60 lbs dry ice blocks for assigned work schedule; typically 8 to 10 hours; lifting 20 tons of product in an 8 hr period
-Must be able to wear required PPE safety equipment including, hardhat, safety glasses, ear protection safety shoes/boots (metatarsal), and uniforms
-Occasional travel may be required - typically 1 to 2 trips per year
-Demonstrates ability to communicate with both written and spoken English
-Related warehouse operations experience a plus
