Apply solid instructional design skills, effective learning principles and creativity to course design to engage participants in the learning process. -Collaborate with subject matter experts to assess, recommend, design, develop and maintain facilitator-led, Web-based and workbook training materials. -Analyze content, target audience, job tasks and learner environment to identify appropriate instructional strategies and define learning objectives. -Develop, manage and maintain facilitator-led, virtual and online, workbook or customization projects including instructional text, technical information, learning activities, software exercises, and presentations. -Stay up to date and expand knowledge on instructional design and e-learning industry trends and related technology. -Anticipate and escalate project issues as they develop. -Create and maintain training records and reports. -Enhance team skills to drive business results -Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions.
Rollout Manhattan Associates Leadership Development curriculum across the globe
Identify and manage a pool of resources certified to deliver the instructor led courses to be offered.
Organize the product training curriculum in a progressive manner so that employees can use it as a tool to further their career.
Assist with long-range planning for incorporating alternative training approaches into the curriculum, using internal and external resources.
Identify and research external vendors for training initiatives and perform cost benefit analysis. Oversee the work of vendors and independent contractors needed to perform work that cannot be performed by MA staff. Work with vendors to create and/or customize on-line courses.
Develop evaluation methods of measuring the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Minimum of 5 years in a training and organizational development position in a high tech business setting. Highly developed communication skills, especially listening, inquiry and giving clear messages. Ability to understand, appreciate and communicate what makes MA’s culture strong. Ability to meet timelines with high quality products. Ability to multi-task, especially handling competing demands for training and quick preparation times. Skills in using HRIS systems, WORD, PPT, email and other relevant software tools. Demonstrated ability to lead project work among colleagues. Demonstrated skills in training design and delivery and in developing increased capacity for organizational growth and effectiveness.
Excellent oral and written communication skills needed to foster productive relationships with diverse staff and constituencies. Strong writing skills needed to produce clear and concise materials.
