The HR Manager is responsible for providing full HR support for approximately100 full-time employees throughout the United States. The HR Manager is a stand-alone role and acts as a direct business partner providing proactive service to the organization.

Reports to: CFO

FLSA Status: Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage the administration of all health and welfare benefit plans and payroll including the administration of COBRA, FMLA, and worker's compensation
  • Ensure labor law compliance within all states that we operate
  • Manage company 401k program and serve as fiduciary
  • Administer and enforce the annual performance review process
  • Handle and resolve all employee relations issues that may arise and ensure that legal and policy matters on those issues are sound
  • Review and maintain employee handbook and business travel policy
  • Partner with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations
  • Partner with managers to provide guidance, training, coaching, counseling, performance management and company policies and procedures
  • Review new hire orientation process, recommend improvements and manage onboarding process for all new employees
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Perform proactive recruiting efforts, including implementing strategy, sourcing and evaluating candidates and managing the interview, testing and offer process
  • Manage recruiting partner relationships when appropriate
  • Manage immigration process, work with outside council to facilitate the process
  • Conduct research as needed for HR matters pertaining to international offices
  • Perform projects as needed with international offices including analysis of human resource related matters.
  • Coordinate holiday schedules and benefits with international offices
  • Administration and processing of ADP Payroll and reports
Requirements:
  • 5+ years’ experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • PHR certification highly desirable
  • 1-2 years’ experience administering payroll
  • Experience working in ADP or other payroll/HR system
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to effectively build relationships with senior leadership team and all employees
