Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
The Director of Rx Inventory Management is responsible for end to end inventory management (DC and stores). The position will support the day to day inventory management activities for brand and generics including but not limited to researching and addressing improvement opportunities, addressing special project activity (new DC opening, inventory optimization opportunities, E3 improvement opportunities, supply disruption analysis and customer availability planning, etc.) Candidate will manage a team of inventory planners and expeditors. In addition the position will be responsible for inventory management practices, productivity and controls to meet the following company goals: In-stock, Service level, Sales and Margin, Inventory productivity (Turn, GMROI).
Due to the impacts within the organization, this position will interact with the stores and several departments specifically, but not limited to Finance, Logistics, Rx Merchandising, and Rx Operations. The Director of Rx Inventory Management requires a strong understanding of inventory replenishment, forecasting, margin, P&L analysis, store processes, and supply chain processes for Rx. This is a key role in providing senior management with the information it needs to make critical business decisions, identify inventory and supply chain opportunities and offer recommendations to optimize inventory. Required Qualifications:
JDA Forecasting and Replenishment Experience 7 + years experience in supply chain management, inventory planning/management Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain, Finance, preferred) Preferred Qualifications:
Proven leadership skills, managerial experience and people development at various levels Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial impact Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization Proven ability to collaborate with, align and influence business partners to achieve Company goals and objectives. Results driven, with a desire to work in a fast paced environment Masters/MBA preferred Education:
