Responsible for Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and Enterprise Asset Management systems of NAES fleet and outside customers. May be responsible for multiple CMMS/EAM projects in various locations. Projects will include various types of CMMS/EAM systems, including but not limited to IBM Maximo, Infor MP2, Infor EAM Enterprise Edition, and MainSaver.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans and executes CMMS/EAM implementation, including data manipulation, data migration, database development, application installation and configuration, and onsite end-user training.
Participates in proposals, plant transition activities, including project estimates and schedules. Identifies potential risks and ensures risk mitigation is implemented during project execution.
Responsible for end-user training, including development and maintenance of training materials.
Responsible for timely end-user support by phone, email, and remote web access technologies such as WebEx and GoToAssist as appropriate.
Prepares periodic CMMS/EAM assessment and evaluation reports when necessary.
Responsible for project quality control, including database testing, and functional testing of the CMMS/EAM application. Responsible for ensuring CMMS/EAM application security and user security meets company policy requirements.
Ensures that projects are managed and executed in compliance with applicable NAES processes, procedures, policies, and protocols.
Develops effective working relationships between employees to work towards common goals as team members. Effectively liaison between all concerned parties through the plant's Project Manager.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible for providing the plants with a functional CMMS/EAM system. Ensuring that the users are adequately trained and provided with the training and knowledge necessary to accomplish their tasks in the CMMS/EAM application. Provide end-user support.
Develop templates and scripts to improve the efficiency of data manipulation, data mapping, data migration, implementation, and support activities. Develop and maintain end-user training materials as necessary.
Duties are performed independently with general oversight provided by the Project Manager of CMMS/EAM systems. Job encounters a wide variety of data manipulation and implementation challenges, and end-user training challenges to users with varying degrees of computing skills and experience.
The position normally deals with others inside and outside the company, including external customers, external customers' IT and accounting departments, marketing department, technical services department, plant personnel, and local IT vendors.
The position has a responsibility to both the NAES' customer and NAES internal objectives and goals. Position requires proactively pursuing for customer delight and aggressively pursuing continuous improvement.
SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Position requires knowledge and skills in client/server and web-based CMMS/EAM systems. Extensive knowledge of IBM Maximo 7.x, IBM WebSphere Application Server 6.x, and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and up is required. Strong background in implementation and end-user training required. Strong troubleshooting skills in application, middleware, and networking is required. Proficiency of an expert level in Microsoft Excel and Access database is required. The CMMS Analyst must have a functional understanding of WAN/LAN, network security systems, DB Administration, TCP/IP, OLE-DB, ODBC, J2EE, and XML. Ability to customize BIRT 2.x reports, Crystal Reports 7.x, MS Access reports, and SQL Reports is desired. Familiarity with Powerplant basics and an ability to read P&IDs is a plus. Must possess ability to establish effective working relationships within and between work groups and an ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
AA degree in computer science, an engineering discipline, or equivalent education and experience required. A minimum of five years of practical experience in IBM Maximo 7.x development, implementation, and end-user training.
Normal working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Travel to client sites and NAES operated plant sites is required.
