Objective :

The Teller Supervisor will provide service support to member transaction needs and other transaction processing systems. In so doing, the Associate will provide Member Services that are professional, friendly and compliant with all policies and procedures and will routinely recommend or refer new and alternative services to Members that best fit their financial needs.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Professionally process all Member based teller transactions:

a) Perform and properly document all teller transactions;

b) Maintain, balance and control all financial transactions;

c) Provide efficient, friendly and personal service for all service requests;

d) Monitor transactions to avoid losses to Members from fraud;

e) Assist other tellers with work as needed.

•· Provide processing support for mail and night depository transactions.

•· Provide first line support for ATM processing and balancing on a basis that is consistent with network rules and regulations.

•· Provide first line support for vault and cash machine balancing.

•· Order cash and coins.

•· Perform administrative duties associated with the servicing of Members.

•· Identify and recommend new and alternative services to Members that will properly fit their financial needs.

•· Assist in establishing performance standards for positions within the department, monitors performance, and provides feedback to the Teller associates and Branch Manager.

•· Assist with the training of new Tellers.

•· Support the daily balancing of branch activity by assisting other Tellers in the balancing of their work.

•· Perform all duties on a basis that is consistent with KEMBA's mission, policies and procedures.

•· Meet or exceed assigned service and productivity goals established for this position.

•· On a self-directed basis, continue to improve individual level of competency through training and certification on established educational programs.

•· Perform other duties as required by management.

•· Must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions: (a) can get along with coworkers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes; (b) perform work activities requiring negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading or speaking with others; and (c) respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor.
