Purpose of Position:
Assist Manager of Supply Chain in special projects related to Inventory and Supplier Quality.
- Assist Procurement team in maximizing the effectiveness of Kanban systems
- Support process improvements to achieve goals for safety, quality, delivery and cost
- Provide input and recommendations for the identification and selection of improvement
- Participate in kaizen or improvement project teams
- Work with Design and Implementation teams on manufacturability, capability, reliability
- Assist in data collection and analysis for new business opportunities
- Assist in benchmarking studies as required
- Assist in defining manufacturing requirements for suppliers
