**Robot Programmer**

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Robotics Engineer - Candidates should have demonstrated experience with robot applications and programming, and desire to cross train as a Controls Engineer for PLC-based controls. A four year minimum of formal post-secondary education on robotics, electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering is required in addition to 10 years of relevant work experience. Knowledge of industrial controls and communications is a plus. Competitive salary, profit sharing, and benefits.

  • Fanuc Robot Teaching / Programming Experience

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Mid-career all the way up to industry veteran experience level
  • Able to travel up to 50%
  • Desire and ability to learn Controls Engineering
Additionally Desired Qualifications:
  • Robot Programming / Teaching on multiple platforms (Fanuc, ABB, Motoman, Kuka, etc.)
  • Robot Application Programming (Karel, etc.)
  • Industrial communication protocols (Ethernet, Devicenet, Profibus, etc.)
  • Robot vision guidance
  • General Motors Robotic standards
  • PLC programming
  • Robot simulation
  • 4yr College Degree (Robot Technology, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Computer Engineering)
Pay Rate: $30 - $40 per hour
