The senior accountant reports to the Finance Manager and will fill a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the Corporate Finance Department.
Job Description:
General accounting functions for the Corporate Finance Department including performing month-end close process Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules including account reconciliations · Assist the Finance Manager in providing timely and accurate financial reporting information in accordance with GAAP, including using the SAP system, excel and other tools to streamline and standardize daily and month end reporting.
Support the Finance Manager, resolving unanticipated daily accounting issues, and assisting with special projects including management reports, internal control compliance, IFRS requirement, and interactions with senior management.
Assist the Finance Manager in monthly cost / inventory accounting closing.
Assist with Year-end audits Assist with preparing tax returns including sales/use tax and corp. tax. · Full cycle Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, banking and other daily accounting activities. Must be multi-task and execution oriented.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Minimum 3 years of corporate accounting experience as full charge accountant SAP experience plus Manufacturing / Cost Accounting plus
