**This position may be filled as an Engineer I-Sr based upon the skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate**
Manage SERC mandated maintenance tasks for Grid.
Oversee and coordinate Planner/Scheduler SERC work plan.
Assist with maintaining the SWMS database
Support Grid personnel with SERC requirements
Review SERC task in SWMS for completeness and accuracy of documentation.
Provide status reports for SERC and WMP
Callout support for substation relay misoperations (24/7)
Review TCOS for SERC Compliance
Update outages in TCOS & AM/FM
Monitor outages for trends and recommend proactive actions to prevent future outages.
Work with equipment engineer & supervisors to prepare up to date reports of station outages due to relay misoperations with follow up actions required and status of those actions.
Investigation of Major Protection & Control Failures/Malfunctions
Complete root cause investigations and report on failures, outages, and quality issues.
Technical Support on Protection & Control Issues
Coordinate relay upgrades, settings changes, standards review, project scoping, etc.
Support field relay personnel.
Recommend improved methods for maintenance and repair of substation controls and relays.
Problem Solving and Analysis
Provide analysis of Digital Fault Recorder (DFR) and Relay Data to assist with fault analysis.

BachelorÂ¿s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Strong PC/Computer Skills
Excellent Communication and organizing skills
Work well in a team environment
Willing to work extended hours and be available for 24 hour callout during emergency.
