Alberici Constructors, Inc. a leading firm in the construction industry with annual revenues in excess of $1B seeks an experienced Subcontract Administration Manager for our Preconstruction Department. This position is located in our St. Louis, Missouri office.
Working closely with staff members, you’ll review and interpret the contract with client, drawings, specifications, addenda, estimate, and subcontractor/supplier quotes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Prepares, reviews, revises - as necessary - and issues subcontracts, purchase orders and services agreements for signature
-Understands all terms and conditions of subcontracts and analyze risks
-Verifies legitimate corporate information such as I-9, legal registered corporate name, and tax identification number
-Negotiates terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers when they are amended with the Contract Review Officer
-Supervises workflow of employees in the Subcontract Administration Department
This position requires a minimum of an Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school plus two to four years related construction industry experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and construction industry experience.
Required technical skills include reading, analyzing, and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. In addition, the position requires the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, taxes, interest, commissions, design fees, proportions, and percentages.
