Functnl System Analyst IV to Sr (Cust Choice Implementation & Ops)
This position will be primarily involved in supporting Customer Choice and related systems in multiple states. Duties include analyzing EDI transactions, working with multiple retail provider support groups, resolving transaction issues, ensuring Choice transactions flow properly through various systems. Maintaining a good working relationship with retail providers, IT, regulatory, ERCOT, PJM as well as various commission staff in states with Customer Choice.
Participate in investigations of application issues and interface with retail provider support groups, users and management. Perform data analysis and assist in the development of reports. Perform application administrative functions. Participate in efforts with business unit employees to define and build business processes and associated applications. Provide assistance and guidance to employees across the corporation in the proper use of applications and Choice processes. Participate in the development of functional system requirements, business cases, application testing and user training plans and materials.
May also assist or perform studies which analyze customer, class, or group energy use characteristics. Obtain and manage requisite data, perform analyses under the direction of experienced analysts, provide data and analysis results to other organizations, and prepare reports summarizing analysis results.
Knowledge of EDI transactions, MACSS (customer information system) a plus.
Experience in load estimation, PJM and/or ERCOT market settlement related to Customer Choice, or e xposure to SAS or other similar analytic / programming software highly desired.

Functnl System Architect
Designs, develops, implements and provides functional support of Advanced Metering applications for the Utility Group and all operating companies. Applications include Landis + Gyr Command Center, Silver Springs Network - Utility IQ, Clevest - Fieldnet, Oracle - Meter Data Management. Provides business subject matter expertise to support the development and implementation of application projects including: defining functional requirements, preparing business case documentation, prioritizing IT and business related work, providing functional direction to IT staff, developing and coordinating application user acceptance testing and coordinating project implementations. Provides functional application support by assisting IT and Vendor support staff in investigating and resolving application issues. Works with business unit employees to define, analyze, design and document business processes and associated applications. Provides assistance and guidance to employees across the corporation in the proper use of applications. Coordinates changes with other applications and ensures compliance with functional and architectural standards. Leads Business Resources assigned to application projects to support budget development and management, schedule development and tracking, status reporting and resolution of project issues.
Design and develop functional specifications and user interfaces for application enhancements.
Coordinate business processes development and modification to leverage application functionality.
Prepare business case documentation.
Develop user acceptance test plans, test cases.
Develop functional training plans, training materials and coordinate training of application users.
Perform application production planning and coordination including development of release plans, release material and release communication.
Assist with application troubleshooting.
