Coordinates with the production supervisor and warehouse coordinator to ensure that production operations are supplied with the proper raw material in a timely manner to prevent production downtime. Assigns work of other forklift drivers to ensure finished product is transferred to proper storage or staging area in a timely manner and ensures all finished product is accurately tagged and entered into the computer system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Operates and maintains forklift in a safe and efficient manner using work instructions, visual management and computer interface.

Supplies production operations with raw materials to produce finished product.

Accurately counts and returns any unused raw materials to their proper location.

Ensures forklift drivers are accurately and safely transferring finished product to storage or staging areas.

Ensures accurate inventory counts and notifies coordinator/supervisor of discrepancies

Inspects finished goods for quality defects.

Ensures all required paper work and logs are completed and placed in notebooks for reference.

Ensures all bin reports for current production are accurate and hung by the end of the shift.

Completes daily and weekly cleaning schedule requirements and signs off on log.

Effectively communicates with all internal departments.

Removes/Reworks any damaged product on pallets.

Weighs and transfers bailed bottles to the scrap trailer.

Maintains a clean work area and performs general housekeeping duties.

High School diploma or general education (GED); or six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


A valid forklift certification, which meets OSHA requirements, is required to perform the essential duties of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand or walk for 12 hours, regularly required to sit for 12 hours, and is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to communicate with other employees and be aware of sounds in the plant. The employee must also frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
